Partnership with founder Leonardo Ciampoli and team to Support future growth and consolidation"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><em>Milan, 1 April 2026<\/em><\/strong> \u2013 <strong>Clessidra Private Equity SGR<\/strong> \u2013 one of the largest Italian private equity firms focused on the upper-mid market and part of Clessidra Group, a leading alternative investment operator in Italy \u2013 announced the acquisition of Sopran Ciodue, an Italian leader in fire security and workplace safety solutions, from its two founders <strong>Leonardo Ciampoli<\/strong> and <strong>Renato Casiroli<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sopran Ciodue is one of the most important players in Italy in the sector, offering a comprehensive range of products and services including <strong>fire-fighting equipment<\/strong>, maintenance of <strong>fire prevention systems<\/strong>, design and installation of fire suppression systems, as well as <strong>workplace safety consultancy<\/strong> and <strong>training<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Founded in <strong>1983,<\/strong> headquartered in <strong>Trezzano sul Naviglio<\/strong> (Milan) and <strong>Fiano Romano<\/strong> (Rome), the group has delivered strong double-digit growth of around 10% per year, reaching today more than <strong>\u20ac50 million in revenues<\/strong> and employing around <strong>200 people<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The group operates in a large and <strong>resilient market driven by stringent regulatory requirements<\/strong>, serving a highly fragmented base of primarily small and medium-sized clients across Italy. Sopran Ciodue benefits from a <strong>strong recurring revenue profile<\/strong>, a <strong>capillary commercial network<\/strong>, and a <strong>well-established premium positioning<\/strong> in its core segments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The transaction represents the <strong>eighth investment by Clessidra Capital Partners 4<\/strong> and aims to support the group\u2019s next phase of growth, leveraging both organic initiatives and a consolidation strategy in a highly fragmented market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As part of the transaction, founder <strong>Leonardo Ciampoli<\/strong> <strong>will reinvest<\/strong> in the business alongside the <strong>senior team<\/strong>, ensuring continuity and strong alignment for the group\u2019s future development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <strong>co-founder Renato Casiroli<\/strong> will continue to contribute to the development of the group, maintaining his role as institutional representative of Sopran Ciodue within the main industry associations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Clessidra\u2019s investment team was coordinated by <strong>Rebecka Swenson<\/strong> and included <strong>Vittorio Basei<\/strong>, Vice President.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWe are proud to pass the baton to Clessidra, a partner we deeply respect for its strong reputation and proven expertise in building value over time,\u201d said <strong>Leonardo Ciampoli<\/strong>, founder of Sopran Ciodue. \u201c<strong>With Clessidra, we are ready to embark on the next phase of growth<\/strong>, expanding further our presence across Italy while preserving the values that define us.
