Mirja Cartia d’AseroChairman

Mirja Cartia d’Asero is Chairman of Clessidra Holding and Clessidra Private Equity SGR. From 2022 to 2025, she served as CEO and General Manager of Il Sole 24 Ore, Italy’s leading publishing group in the economic and financial sector.

During the first 10 years of her career, Mirja worked as a lawyer at international law firms (Clifford Chance, Allen & Overy), specializing in banking & finance and real estate, both in Italy and London. Over the following 12 years, she worked at the international investment bank Lehman Brothers, both before and after its administration.

In 2015, she co-founded and served as CEO of Restar, a startup focused on the origination and management of non-performing loans. She also held the role of Head of Real Estate at Guber.

Since 2014, Mirja has held several independent board member positions at listed companies (Prelios, Prelios SGR, Damiani, FNM, Sole 24 Ore).

She currently serves on the board of Italmobiliare (since 2017), Zurich Investments Life S.p.A. (since 2019), and Tecma Solutions S.p.A. (since 2021), and is a member of the Advisory Board of the Randstad Foundation for AI & Humanities.

Mirja has a strong passion for ESG issues, which she consistently incorporates into every aspect of her professional work.
