Clessidra was founded by Claudio Sposito with the aim of creating a highly professional private equity company dedicated to the Italian Mid-Cap market, a relatively under-penetrated but extremely attractive market.

Clessidra became one of the first Italian signatories of the UN Principles for Responsible Investments (“PRI”).

2015

Clessidra Private Equity launches the Clessidra Capital Partners 3 (CCP3) fund.

Italmobiliare Investment Holding acquires Clessidra SGR.

2019

Clessidra Restructuring Fund Launched. To solidify its leadership in alternative investments for Italian SMEs, the Group unveils a new strategy focused on UTP loans through the Clessidra Restructuring Fund.

Clessidra Factoring Launched. Expanding its service offerings for Italian SMEs, the Clessidra Group completes another strategic move in credit management by acquiring CoEFI, a financial intermediary operating in the factoring industry. CoEFI is immediately rebranded as Clessidra Factoring.

Clessidra Private Equity launches the Clessidra Capital Partners 4 (CCP 4)

Clessidra Private Debt Launched. The Clessidra Group completes another strategic move in the credit sector with the launch of the Clessidra Private Debt Fund. This fund provides support for the growth of lower-middle market companies and fully integrates ESG principles throughout the entire investment process.

TODAY

Today, Clessidra is an independent financial group capable of offering a wide range of products and services to SMEs and institutional investors. The Group operates through three companies: Clessidra Private Equity, Clessidra Capital Credit, and Clessidra Factoring.

The parent company, Clessidra Holding, provides management and coordination activities while respecting the decision-making autonomy of individual companies.
